Hi, can anyone tell me the actual difference between essay and article. I just can't figure out what it's all about. Huh

I was wondering the same thing and did some kind of research. You see, even professional writers who have been long in writing business, sometimes can hardly explain the real difference.
I frequently saw mentions that articles refer to 'third-person point-of-view' and they shouldn't be too personal. Otherwise, article will look like editorial, where personal opinions are not only allowed, but welcome. As for essays, they are mostly written from first person name and are about personal experience, life story, whatever... Smiley

Hello forum guys!
I am new at your forum, but I share interest of writing with you Smiley
and I hope I will find something new for me and will provide something new for you.
Regarding the topic, I love writing both essays and articles. Articles give a feeling of social involvement and meaning, while essays let you be what you are, say what you want to, without real stickiness to special requirements.
