I’ve found an interesting blogpost today: http://stargull.livejournal.com/
Here is a thing that drew my attention.
=============================================================================
My totally bizarre discovery for today:

As a technical writer at my new company, I have been assigned an illustrator, who collaborates with me on all the documents I write. It's his job to work out the illustrations that will prove most useful to our end users based on my text; he then goes out and either draws or photographs whatever I need. So far the collaboration has been great.

Now since I'm still wandering around the office looking like a deer caught in the headlights, he has sort of taken me under his wing, and we've had lunch together every day this week. So over sandwiches today, he mentioned in passing that he draws comics. So I just came home and Googled his name (Chuck Rowles). Holy cow... this guy's a major Internet comics bigshot. Do a search on his name if you have a few hours to kill. You'll find tons of interviews (some print, some audio), as well as links to his graphic novels and comics archives.

And here's a wikipedia entry about Chuck's series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gods_of_Arr-Kelaan

It's weird who you meet in the corporate workplace, eh?

=========================================================================
Do we know much about our colleagues?  Most  people just do the job and they don’t know personality of other employees. Just think about a guy sitting next door, may be he is a well-known antiques collector or a police wanted hacker Wink.  And you don’t know about is just because you are not interested and you didn’t ask.

Most popular or well-known people make information about themselves publically available. If they don’t like to be popular this can mean they have something to hide.

There are modest individuals who are in fact brilliant, they haven’t done anything wrong but they just don’t like to be in the centre of attention to avoid gossips etc….

Anyway, Google can find those information which seemed to be unavailable.  Several times, I've found really amazing facts about my relatives, friends, colleagues by searching their name, surname or nickname.
However I haven't found such weird results  like this guy.

Usually, at work we are concentrated on ourselves, our careers, our personal goals. I think we need to communicate more with our colleagues, this will increase the team spirit and we will feel comfortable in such atmosphere.

Kind of philosophical question.
I don't know everyone whom I work with. Because I have not enough time to speak with everyone. I think it's better to know good several people than to know a lot of people but to know about them only minor information.
This story is nice, author and Chuck are major co-workers and friends. So this fact about comics would appear anyway

I believed I know my co-workers well. But there was an event and a guy I know did something extraordionary, something that I believe he was not capable to do. But he did it. That's because we know our co-workers only as employees, but not like husbands, wives etc.
