Researching markets is one of the first things a freelancer should do before sending query letters and suggesting one's writings. That may sound obvious, but many beginners think that they will get with markets issue later.
I'd like to offer several links to sites which may be useful when researching markets for writers. You may start with writersmarket.com or publisherdatabase.com.
Would be thankful if you post other useful resources in this topic. Smiley

Researching markets will also be helpful for those freelance writers who want to try themselves in market research writing. At first you do it for your own purposes, then you know how to do it for others. Smiley

Hey guys! I am newbie here Smiley
Wanted to comment the topic you started. My own experience demonstrates that researching markets before starting actual work is essential. I wanted to write content for SEO companies, but when I read lots of stuff regarding SEO and content writing, I understood that I have to learn many things before I can enter content writing market. Actually, now that's what I am doing. I mean, learning more and more about SEO and content writing. Hope, I will be able to start writing soon.
