Hi there!
It seems there's no thread about copywriters. Bur as far as I know copywriting is considered to be well-paid. Many freelancers seek copywriting opportunities. What would you say from your experience? Thx Smiley

Welcome Kat_from_heavens!
Nice nickname  Wink
Yeah, copywriting business is considered to bring nice payments  for copywriters. But, first, it's not easy to get there, especially for freelance beginners. Second, as the saying goes, "it's not all gold that glitters" and there are many problems in this field. At least, that's what a friend of mine, copywriter, says of the whole matter.
Anyway, if you want to get into this business, you should make efforts to succeed.
In freelance copywriting it is of essential importance to research the market you want to get to.
I've heard that "The Well Fed Writer" by Peter Bowerman is a very helpful book for freelance beginners.

Sales copywriting seems to pay the best, from what I've seen, but it's a difficult, more high-pressure job than say, writing articles for magazines.  If you're serious about freelance copywriting, check out anything written by Bob Bly.  He's one of the more well-known successful freelance copywriters, and everything I've read of his has really helped me.  His website has a lot of articles, and they're free to read.  You can find it by Googling his name.

Hi, Angela. I've checked some articles by Bob Bly like "How To Prepare For A Copywriting Assignment" and "The Fundamentals Of Persuasive Writing"  and I must say they are really awesome. Thanks for the valuable resource. Anyone who is interested in the matter can go directly to http://www.bly.com/newsite/Pages/articles.php.

Really, helpful links.
There are a lot of articles helpful not just on copywriter's issues, but about personal development, business skills and marketing.
