I'm new to both writing and this forum.

How am i supposed to get a copyright? Do i need to finish my work before getting the copyright? Also what privilages will the copyright give me? These will sound stupid to you if you know, but they are honest questions... and i need help.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

The question of copyright has already been discussed in this thread http://www.writersclub.net/help_and_suggestions/question_of_copyright-t49.0.html So please don’t be lazy to use forum search.  Wink

Moreover there is a good site on copyright www.copyright.gov where you hopefully can find answers to your questions.
