I’ve been to a camp located in the wild forest. Everything was so good, I very much liked the fresh air and green nature all around. After several weeks spent online I really feel the difference! But I was afraid of wild animals and particularly bears and found a nice blog about bears, their life and relations with humans: http://mywebduck.typepad.com

Man, I checked that blog. Thanks, it was worth reading. Especially I liked the part about "Just What DO Bears Eat?" - you should be lucky that humans are not in their menu Wink

The post in that blog also teaches how to behave while camping. Oplimpic, I hope you took all your garbage back with you.
I like bears, although I know that it's better to stay away from  grizzlies.

Thanks very much for visiting my blog Pentimento and putting a link here to the article about what bears eat. I cannot take credit for writing that article though. It was something someone emailed me and I didn't have a link to the original author's page. Still, I thought it was important information to disseminate at this time of year when bears are coming out of hibernation and foraging for food.

Guys, you aren't cowards are you?
How could you be scared of such lovely creatures?

Look at this tiny little baby bear. It's from the article you've mentioned

Interesting article!
I'm not scared of bears. I think we (humans) should not have the fear of animals.

I’ve heard that bears can be dangerous and aggressive only in certain period and generally the don’t attack humans or do it in return to negative actions.

Yes, you are right.
They won't attack you, unless you've made something unpleasant to them.
However the unpleasant thing may be a glance, loud talking, etc. so when you will see a bear - control you behavior.

Nice to hear Alan that you are not scared of bears.
I agree that humans should not fear animals. Moreover it is better to have no fear at all. (May be except the fear of God). Fear is very destructive feeling

I guess fear is normal feeling and I would not call it destructive.  Your fair prevents you from doing dangerous things and even can save your life.

I will draw the conclusion: Fear is destructive feeling, but sometimes it helps.
(Imagine someone who has no fear of cars crossing the street on red light and being hit by a car..)
The best option - is to control your fear!
